Boomkicker
models K0750, K1000 and K1500 come with standard universal fittings to fit
most mast and booms. In the picture to the left, the boom fitting is on
the left, the mast fitting is on the right. Machine screw fasteners along
with the proper drill, tap and hex wrench are also included for a complete
package. The mast fitting has standard a round slide to fit the luff groove
and avoid drilling. Flat slides if needed are available from the factory.
The mast bracket can also be attached directly to the mast using the drill
and tap. Click models above for specific instructions.
Boomkicker models K0312 and
K0400 come with the standard mast fitting, but use a sling for the boom to
totally avoid drilling and tapping either the mast or boom. For more specifics see their installation instructions above,
or go to Boomkicker Models and Specifications.

How
easy are Boomkickers to install? One customer said it was easy enough for
his son to install and produced a picture to prove it. Some installations
are easier then others. The Customer Reports and Suggestions above show
some boat specific data customers have generously provided over the years.
We can say at least 90% of customers install the Boomkicker themselves. If
you have any questions after viewing the above links, we are happy to answer
them. See the Contact Us page for the email address and phone number.
